  • Coconino Community College 475 South Lake Powell Boulevard Page, AZ, 86040 United States (map)

This presentation hosted by Coconino Community College describes structures and features built in north central Mongolia from 2000 BC to 1300 AD. While looking at a broad time frame, the presentation focuses on how a mobile herding culture sustained the lives along one the the tributary rivers in the Lake Baykal drainage basin. We will illustrate, through what we have learned in archeological excavations and surveys, how individuals sustained their life-ways in northern Mongolia during this time period.
