Glen Canyon Dam
Free Guided Tours
Glen Canyon Natural History Association, a non-profit educational organization, in cooperation with the
Bureau of Reclamation, provides guided tours through Glen Canyon Dam on a year-round basis. Tours are
approximately 45 minutes long and are provided for the public free of charge. Each tour is limited to
20 persons (including infants and children.) Before the scheduled tour, each person or party must
register at the reservation desk located inside the Carl Hayden Visitor Center.
Group Tours are available for large parties including schools, travel clubs, universities, and other
organizations. Group Tours are limited to 40 persons per tour and are conducted at 9:15 AM, 10:15 AM,
1:15 PM, and 2:15 PM Mountain Standard Time daily. Reservations for Group tours must be made in advance -

Year-Round Tour Schedule
All Tour Times Are Mountain Standard Time (MST) Year-Round.
January 1st - February 28th(29th)
Tours are scheduled every two hours at 8:30 AM, 10:30 AM, 12:30 PM, and 2:30 PM.
March 1st - May 15th
Tours are scheduled every hour on the half hour at 8:30 AM, 9:30 AM, 10:30 AM, 12:30 PM, 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM, and 3:30 PM.
May 16th - September 14th
Tours are scheduled every half hour at 8:30 AM, 9:00 AM, 9:30 AM, 10:00 AM, 10:30 AM, 12:30 PM, 1:00 PM, 1:30 PM, 2:00 PM, 2:30 PM, 3:00 PM, 3:30 PM, and 4:00 PM.
September 15th - October 31st
Tours are scheduled every hour on the half hour at 8:30 AM, 9:30 AM, 10:30 AM, 12:30 PM, 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM, and 3:30 PM.
November 1st - December 31st
Tours are scheduled every two hours at 8:30 AM, 10:30 AM, 12:30 PM, and 2:30 PM.
