Lake Powell
Lake Powell is one of those wonderful places to visit that gets under your skin and never leaves you. It is
186 miles of beautiful red rock canyon and crystal blue waters. It offers something for everyone. Formed by
the Glen Canyon Dam, Lake Powell is at 3700' above sea level when full and is several hundred feet deep in
the main channel. There are 96 major side canyons, each with its own mood and personality. The five marinas
on the lake, operated by a National Park concessioner, are there to serve visitors with modern facilities.
They can provide boat rentals, tours, dining, and lodging.
